A ducted heat pump ties into your existing furnace ductwork and heats or cools the whole house evenly from central vents — the straightforward swap if your home already has forced-air heating. Can I get a rebate for installing a heat pump?
Likely yes, especially if you're switching off oil or electric baseboard heat. CleanBC Better Homes and BC Hydro both run heat pump rebate programs, and what you qualify for depends on your household income tier and the equipment installed rather than on one published figure.
