Yes — a ductless (mini-split) heat pump doesn't need existing ductwork, which is why it's the common retrofit choice for older homes, character houses, and additions on Vancouver Island. A typical ductless installation is usually finished in a day, with one outdoor unit and one or more wall-mounted indoor heads; running lines to several rooms, or through a wall that turns out to be full of knob-and-tube, is what stretches it longer.

There is no licensed electrical technician on staff and that side of the business is not operating, so we are not booking panel upgrades, rewiring, EV chargers, or generators — the company name says Electrical because that is the registered name, not because the work is available. Heating, cooling and ventilation, plumbing, and fire protection are what our crews cover.

Where that stands

One-year warranty on our labour. Equipment and parts are covered separately, under the supplier's or manufacturer's own warranty. So a fault in the installation itself is ours to put right for a year after the job; a part that fails inside the equipment is a claim on the warranty that came with that equipment, and the term on that varies by supplier.
